Mercedes-Benz Vietnam launches FUSO brand with TruckScience sales tool for the iPad 1024 492 TruckScience

As part of FUSO’s growth strategy in Asia and its overall aim to increase its global sales to 200,000 units by 2015, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam officially launched the FUSO brand under a new organization and brand identity on 9th October, alongside TruckScience’s sales tool for the iPad, tailored for FUSO in Vietnam.

Personalized TCO calculations

Using the TruckScience sales tool, FUSO dealers can demonstrate the payload capacity of FUSO vehicles pre-configured with standard bodies from the leading body builders in Vietnam, and can simulate the performance of these vehicles over their customers’ own routes, to provide realistic fuel consumption estimates, which feed into personalized TCO calculations.

The brand launch was a spectacle of music, lighting and dance; a real celebration of the three-party collaboration between Japanese technology, German management and Vietnamese operating expertise, altogether referred to as the ‘Tripod Spirit’, which Mercedes-Benz Vietnam believes will empower FUSO to be a key player in the truck market in Vietnam.
